Michael “The Playmaker” Irvin played his entire professional career (1988-1999) with the Dallas Cowboys before retiring with a spinal cord injury in 1999. Nicknamed The Playmaker, Irvin was the flashiest of the “Triplets” which included Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith. The trio led the Cowboys to 3 Super Bowls in the 1990s. In 2007, Irvin was inducted into the football Hall of Fame.
