He was drafted by the Washington Redskins with the 17th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft out of the University of Alabama. Allen was an important piece for the Crimson Tide as he helped them win 3 College Football National Championships. He was also a 2016 unanimous All-American and the SEC Defensive Player of the Year.
