The former member of the Big Red Machine known for his hard-nose style of play. Pete Rose also played for the Montreal Expos and won a world championship with the Philadelphia Phillies on his way to passing Ty Cobb as the all-time MLB career hits leader (4190). Rose was a 17-time career All-Star, 2-time Gold Glove winner, and won the 1963 Rookie of the Year, 1973 NL MVP and 1975 World Series MVP awards.
